Agnes Stone

Candler Agnes Geraldine Hagan Stone, 74, of 16 Wade Drive passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. Mrs. Stone was a daughter of the late Queen Alexander Hagan Barnes and wife of John Edward Stone who died April 8, 1994. Surviving are her children, Nola Kaufman & husband Ron of Candler, Judy Elizabeth Fender of Johnson City, TN and Matthew Stone of Nashville, TN; granddaughters, Jenny Bradley and Brittany Steele; great granddaughters, Danielle, Megan and Madilyn Surrett and sister, Grace Harrell. Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday in the Chapel of Faith at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Worth Emory officiating. Entombement will follow. The family will receive friends 10:00 to 10:30 A.M. Friday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park prior to services.
