Albert Franklin

Leicester – Albert Delmont Franklin, 66, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital. A native of Greeneville, TN and resident of WNC, he retired from the City of Asheville’s Water Department, and was the son of the late William Edward Franklin and Irene Shelton Franklin. Surviving are his life partner, Lisa Conley Hollifield of the home; daughter, Tinny Lynn Franklin Howe and husband, Nicholas of Inman, SC; sons, Ronald Edward “Eddie” Franklin of the home and Daniel Wayne Hollifield and wife, Anitra of Leicester and grandchildren, Kayla Burrell, Joshua Burrell, Dylan Howe and Dezaree Franklin. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Friday, April 1, 2022 at Green Hills Cemetery, with Rev. Chris Kent officiating.
