Alice Sluder

Weaverville - Alice Sluder ,75, of 11 Robinwood Road, died March 1, 2003 at the Brian Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was a member of United Missionary Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Willie McFalls. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Raymond George Sluder of the home; daughters, Donna Smith and husband, Gary and Joyce Sluder all of Weaverville. Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral with the Rev. Gary Coates officiating. Entombment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
