Asheville - Allan Shields, 77, of Asheville, NC died peacefully and unexpectedly early Friday morning, April 25, 2014 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm, Saturday, June 14, at The First Presbyterian Church, Mt Vernon, Ohio. A reception will follow at the Russell Cooper House. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the Shields family with local arrangements.
