Barry Hopkins

Leicester - Barry Hopkins, 64, of 69 Towering Views, died Monday, April 21, 2008 from injuries sustained in a work-related accident. A native of England, Mr. Hopkins had resided in Buncombe County for the past 10 years and worked as a brick mason. He was the son of Irene Child Hopkins of Strood, England, and the late Ernest Hopkins. Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Sue Ellen Henry Hopkins, of the home; daughter, Keely Hopkins of Ireland; sister, Pat Lewis of England; and brother, Chips Hopkins of Los Angeles, CA. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, PO Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
