Benuk Lalita
June 18, 1948 — January 20, 2024
Leicester -Benuk Lalita, 75, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at her residence.
A native of the Marshall Islands, she resided in Buncombe County. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lujen Lalita and August Lalita.
Surviving are her husband, Joshua George; children: Toru August, Heliana Lalita, Merilyn Lalita, Danny Lalita, and Junior George; fourteen grandchildren; six sisters; three brothers; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2 PM at Green Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday following the service at the funeral home.
Anders-Rice Funeral Home and Cremation Center is honored to serve the Lalita family.
