Betty Jean Hollifield

ASHEVILLE Betty Jean Letterman Hollifield, 66, of 127 Bartlett Street went to be with her Jesus Tuesday, January 30, 2007. A native of Madison County and a resident of Buncombe County for over 20 years. She was a daughter of the late William Bill Letterman and Bird Morrow Moore and the wife of the late George Neil Hollifield. Surviving are her daughter, Linda K. Hensley of Leicester; grandchildren, James Roger Clubb of Weaverville, Betty Lynn Litteral and Clifford Jesse Clubb both of Black Mountain; sister, Linda Letterman of Hickory; brothers, James Moore of Weaverville, Howard Morrow of Mars Hill and Junior Letterman of Hickory. Private burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. Friends may visit from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
