Betty L. Bagwell

Asheville Betty Louise Lunsford Bagwell, 84, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Aston Park Health Care Center. Mrs. Bagwell was a native and resident most of life of Buncombe County and was of the Baptist faith. She was a daughter of the late William Harrison Lunsford and Hilda Mae Blackwell Lunsford and wife of Preston S. Bagwell, Jr. who died May 18, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her son, Donald Ray Bagwell; sister, Helen L. Roberts and brothers, Charles Lunsford and Lloyd G. Lunsford. Surviving are her sister, Hilda L. Lanning of Asheville; 4 nieces and nephews; 6 great nieces and nephews and 9 great-great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11 AM Monday, July 22, 2013 at Tweeds Chapel with Rev. Richard Baird officiating.
