Betty Stephens

Asheville - Betty Marie Beachboard Stephens, 73, of 19 Tanglewood Drive, died unexpectedly Saturday August 12, 2006 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Jesse and Edith Robinson Beachboard. Surviving are her husband, Boyd Stephens of the home; son, Joe Stephens and wife Sue of Asheville; daughter, Lisa Connor and husband Neal of Asheville; sister, Nina Rachel of Reno, NV; grandsons, Aaron Stephens and Andrew Stephens and granddaughter, Sierra Connor. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday at Green Hills Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Ralph Sexton, Jr. and Rev. Allen Rash officiating.
