Billie Jo Morgan

Asheville - Billie Jo Stewart Morgan, 71, of Asheville, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Henderson County, Mrs. Morgan worked as a Freight Broker for 30 years with Mason-Dixon Truck Lines and Dallas Mavis Truck Lines, and had worked for the past 10 years with Sitel. She was the daughter of the late William D and Robena Stewart, and was the wife of the late James R. Morgan. Surviving are her children: James S. Morgan and wife Angie, Michael R. Morgan, and William D. Morgan and wife Shannon; 7 grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Hightower. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday at Pisgah View Memorial Park, with the Rev. Steve Oxner officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 PM Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
