Bobby Scott

Fairview – The "Mountain Man", 84, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the Stonecreek Health and Rehab. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Huge Gordon Scott and Ellen Thomas Scott. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jewitt Scott, and a son, Gary Scott. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved his family and will be missed. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Mae Ingle Scott; daughter, Sharon Ann Smith; and son, Bridget Gordon Scott and wife Tammy. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Bent Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Ed Ellege officiating.
