Brenda Anders

Barnardsville - Brenda Kay Lunsford Anders, 59, passed away unexpectedly Monday November 22, 2010 at her home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a member of Barnardsville Church of God. She was a daughter of Ruth Alma Rice Lunsford of Barnardsville and the late Herman Curtis Lunsford. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband Douglas W. Anders; sons, Leonard and wife Dena Anders, Lloyd and Lenny Anders all of Barnardsville sisters, Kathy, Jackie and Helen Lunsford all of Barnardsville; brother, Pastor Roger Lunsford and wife Susan of Weaverville; grandchildren, Kayla, Tyler and Katelyn Anders and Bryton and Eden Cole and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Barnardsville Church of God with Pastors Daniel Reid and Dean Metcalf officiating. Burial will be in the Rice Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour before services at the church.
