Brian Keith Billings

Candler - Brian Keith Billings, 31, of Brookside Apts #1 died unexpectedly Friday December 19, 2003 at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was employed by the Barbecue Inn. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he was a teacher with the special needs class. He was a son of the late James Franklin Billings and Rosie Massey Kooles and husband Charlie of Asheville and step-son of Ernie Wilson of Leicester.. Surviving in addition to his mother and step-fathers are his son: Hunter Billings of Candler; daughter, Alexandra Billings of Candler; paternal grandmother, Nancy Billings of Mount Airy; maternal grandmother, Thelma Conner and husband Fred of Fletcher; brothers, Gregory Billings of Newton and Brent Wilson of Candler and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Buddy Corbin officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
