Carol Jean "Nana" Morrow

Carol Jean Nana Morrow Candler - Carol Jean Mielke Nana Morrow, 54, of 2 Paradise Road died Sunday July 6, 2003. A native of Teaneck, N.J., she lived most of her life in Buncombe County. She was a member of the Fellowship of the Vine and was employed by Hominy Valley Elementary School. She was a daughter of the late Horst and Jeanette Mielke. Surviving are her husband, Gene Morrow of Asheville; daughters, Sandy Sellers and Fianc Andy Spooner of Candler and Mary Beth Sellers and husband James Boone of Candler; Son, Randy Patrick Chisholm and wife Tiffany of Leicester; sisters, Julia Penland of Candler and Susan Roberts of West Palm Beach, Fl.; brother, Carl Mielke of Candler; Grandchildren, Caris Beth Sellers, Savannah Roberts, Mariah Boone, Taylor Chisholm and Hunter Chisholm; father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Gail Morrow of Alexander and best friend, Carol Williams. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 A.M, Thursday July 10, 2003 at Acton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dave Banks officiating. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
