Carolyn Ann Jones

Asheville – Carolyn Ann Jones, 55, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 10, 2021. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she had served for many years as a waitress at the Grove Park Inn. Carolyn was the daughter of Marjorie Shelton Jones of Asheville and the late George Larry Jones, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her brother, George Larry Jones, Jr. Surviving in addition to her mother are her partner, Patricia J. Padgett; children: George Brent Jones and Christy Padgett; grandchildren: George Brent Jones, Jr., Patricia Ann Jones, and Cameron Brooks; and sisters: Shirley Diane Price, and Tina Marie Branham and special friend, Mark Kirk. No services are planned at this time.
