Carroll Bridges

Charles Carroll Bridges, 82, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his residence. A native and life long resident of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Wiley Bridges and Essie Rogers Bridges. He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Bob Bridges, Jack Bridges, and Richard Bridges. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Ewald Bridges; children: Debbie Bridges Michaels and Dennis Bridges and wife Diane; sister, Ann Shelton and husband Ronald; brother, Harry Bridges and wife Margaret; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
