Cecil Jerome Webb, 66, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, quiet generosity, and a life spent helping others.
Cecil was known throughout his community as the person you called when something needed fixing. A skilled handyman by trade and by heart, he could repair just about anything—leaky faucets, stubborn doors, broken fences, or a neighbor’s bad day. With a well-worn toolbox and an easy smile, he showed up not just to mend what was broken, but to make things a little better than he found them.
Born on March 30th, 2026, Cecil grew up learning the value of honest work and self-reliance. Over the years, he built a reputation for craftsmanship and dependability, but those who knew him best will remember his kindness even more than his skill. He rarely accepted more than a thank-you when helping someone in need, believing that lending a hand was simply what you were supposed to do.
He is survived by his loving parents: Jerry Jack Webb Sr. and Mae LaVonne Fox; Siblings: Jerry Jack Webb Jr, Michael Dean Webb, Jennifer Shelton and Terry Webb; along with many nieces and nephews. A community that will feel his absence in countless small but meaningful ways. His work can still be found in homes across the area steady, reliable, and built to last, much like the man himself.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Anders Rice and Roper Funeral Home and Cremation Center is honored to serve the Webb family.
