Charles Edward Bancroft
May 9, 1950 — March 23, 2024
Asheville – Charles Edward Bancroft, 73, died on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the CarePartners Hospice Solace Center while surrounded by family.
A native of Oklahoma, he resided in Buncombe County most of his life. He was a son of the late George and Bernice Orr Bancroft.
Mr. Bancroft was a devoted father and loved his family very much. He was also dedicated to serving others throughout his life. He was a lifelong, dedicated, and proud member of the Baha’i faith.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Niecka Bancroft (Jonathan), and Navid Bancroft; and siblings: Gloria Bancroft, John Bancroft, Liz Hutchins, Gary Bancroft, and Mary Louise Young.
Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 am till 12 pm at the funeral home.
