Charles Edwards

Asheville - Charles Augustus Edwards, 80, died Thursday April 28, 2011 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a member of Cornerstone Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a son of the late Ernest Floyd and Ethel Laughter Edwards. Surviving are his niece, Talana Rice of Asheville and nephews, Rock Edwards of Asheville, Chad Edwards of Weaverville and Ty Edwards of Asheville. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Jeffrey Hober officiating. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the Family.
