Charles "Scotty" Collins

Asheville - Charles Scott Scotty Collins, Sr. 58 of 224 Bear Creek Road died unexpectedly Wednesday - June 22, 2005 at his home. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the former owner and operator of I-Tech Services Inc.. He was the son of the late Oscar Charles and Irene Travis Collins and was also preceded in death by a son, Jeff Collins and nephew Danny Watts. Surviving are his wife, Joan Dodie Collins of the home; son, Charles Scott Collins, Jr. and wife Julia of Candler; daughter, Beth Collins of Spartanburg, SC, sister, Carole Collins Watts of Asheville; grandsons, Tony, John and Robert; nephew, Mark Watts and several other nephews and nieces. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Leon Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before services at the funeral home..
