Clara Belle Reed

Candler – Clara Belle Reed, 89, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Mission Hospital.

A native of Swain County, she was a daughter of the late Fred Fuller and Grace Stillwell Fuller. She was also preceded in death by eight siblings.

She was a longtime member of Berea Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 71 years, Robert Maxwell “Max” Reed; sons, Jerry Reed and Chris Reed; grandson, Cody Reed; sister, Ruth Stanley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, November 22, 2024, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Crayton officiating. Burial will follow at Berea Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 till 1 PM Friday prior to services at the funeral home.
