Clara Mae Dockery

Largo, FL. Clara Mae Cassida Dockery, 77, of 1140 Woodbrook Drive, died Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at Mease-Dunedin Hospital in Dunedin, FL. A native of Buncombe County, she had resided in the Clearwater, FL area since 1975. She was a waitress and a member of Mt. Sheba Baptist Church. Ms. Dockery was the daughter of the late Jeter Pritchard and Dema Lovada Sluder Cassida. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Charles Pritchard Cassida and William Bill Sherman Cassida. Surviving are three sons: Glenn Dockery and Eddie Paul Dockery, both of Largo, FL, and Samuel Sammy Dockery of Clearwater, FL.; two daughters: Gail Putnam of Monticello, FL, and Darlene Natale Hammond of Largo, FL; a sister, Mary Lee Price of Mars Hill; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Sunday at French Broad Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Boone officiating. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
