Claude Etheridge

Asheville– Claude Etheridge, 91, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at his residence.

A native of New York City, he lived most of his life in Freeport N.Y before moving to Asheville in 2023. Claude enjoyed baseball and watching old movies that reminded him of his youth. Claude was a Korean War Veteran having served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1953.

Mr. Etheridge was the son of the late Thomas Etheridge and Mildred Robinson Etheridge. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Connie Diaz and Edward Thomas Etheridge.

Surviving is his son: Claude Edward Etheridge; grandchildren: Christopher Edward Etheridge, Jeniece Brown, Alexander James Etheridge, and Tatiana Ymani Etheridge; great-grandchildren: Jael Brown Harper Etheridge, and Michael Etheridge; and many nieces and nephews.
