Claude Wilson

Asheville - Claude Wilson, 67, of 26 Family Lane died Friday December 6, 2002 at St. Josephs Hospital after an extended illness. A native of Yancey County, he had lived most of his life in Buncombe County. He was a member of Inanda Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Sam and Nellie Axie Ledford Wilson. Surviving are his wife, Frances McKinney Wilson of the home; daughters, Patricia Sprinkle and husband Jackie of Asheville, Charlene Riddle and husband Benton of Asheville and Rhonda Warren and husband Barry of Candler; sisters, Marie Moore of Asheville and Alice Phillips of Marion; brother, Ed Wilson of Palm Bay, Fl.; grandchildren, Jackie Sprinkle, Jr., Ashley Banks, Meghan Riddle, Amy Warren and Sam Warren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Sunday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Smith officiating. Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
