Clifford Ray Hyatt

Asheville - Clifford Ray Hyatt, 66, of 23 Carrier St. died Thursday December 19, 2002 at his residence. A native of and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Sam Wesley and Bessie Cox Hyatt and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Surviving are his wife, Betty Jo Hyatt of the home; son, Randy Ray Hyatt and wife Debbie of Swannanoa; sisters, Annie Marie Hyatt and Lillie Mae Wooten both of Asheville; brothers, Sam Raymond Hyatt of Asheville and Robert Michael Hyatt of Jefferson City, Tn.; grandson, Chris Hyatt; granddaughters, Briana Hyatt, Frankielynn McMillan and Stephanie Hamilton; 4 great grandchildren and numerous friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. John T. Tiller officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home..
