Clyde Moore

Leicester - Clyde Moore, 64, of 132 Green Acres Drive died Wednesday, January 8, 2003 at the Mountain Area Hospice Solace center following a period of declining health. A native of Yancey County. He had resided in Buncombe County most of life. Mr. Moore was a son of the late William Calvin Moore and Pearl Burns Moore. Surviving are his daughters, Angela Bradbury of Burnsville and Betty Clemmons of Leicester; son, Jason Moore of Mars Hill; sisters, Lydia Green and Thelma Turner both of Asheville, Mary Sharpe of Greer, S.C. and Dorothy Vess of Morganton; brothers, Bill Moore of Asheville and Fred Moore of Barnardsville; five grandchildren. No services are planned. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the family.
