Dale Arland Boggs

Asheville - Dale Arland Boggs, 75, of 121 Macedonia Road passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at his home. A native of Fort Wayne, IN, he had resided in Buncombe County the past 35 years. He retired from St. Josephs Hospital as an X-Ray Technician. Mr. Boggs was a son of the late Henry Boggs and Martha Melinda Griffin Boggs and husband of Lucy Meda Tinsley Boggs who died December 4, 2008. He was also preceded in death by a great grandson, Sabastian Beam. Surviving are his son, David Boggs and wife, Glenda of Leicester; daughter, Susan Stewart and husband, Joe of Asheville; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and brother, Raymond Boggs of Bryant, IN. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Tuesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Jack officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10 to 11 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
