Dale Russell Gunn

Weaverville Dale Russell Gunn, 68, of 11 Deacon Drive, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2006 at his residence, following a period of declining health. A native of Nashville, TN, Dale had lived in Buncombe County since 1948. He retired from Volvo as a welder in 1995. Dale was a very religious man, and kept several notebooks of Bible study notes. He was the son of the late Comer Clinton and Alma Mull Gunn. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Gunn. Surviving are his wife, Faye Maynard Gunn, and his son, Shawn Gunn, both of the home. Graveside services were held Tuesday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, with the Rev. Troy Rogers and Rev. D.L. Maynard officiating.
