Daniel Henry "Danny" Martin

Candler - Daniel Henry Danny Martin, 49, of 6 Spencer Road died unexpectedly June 10, 2008 at his home. A native of Albuquerque, NM, he lived most of his life in Buncombe County. He was a machinist and had most recently been in quality control for Balcrank Corp. He formerly attended the Wesleyan Church. He loved animals and had formerly been a volunteer with Animal Compassion Network. He was the son of Vivian S. Martin of Asheville and the late Henry Lee Martin. He was also preceded in death by his brother: Steven G. Martin. In addition to his mother he is also survived by his sister, Janet Thomas and husband Dennis of Asheville; nephew, Brett Thomas of Asheville; several uncles, aunts and cousins and his best friend, his little dog, CoCoa. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday July 12, 2008 at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. With Pastor James Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the funeral home.
