David Deifendeifer

Asheville - David Ronald Deifendeifer, 51, of Asheville, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals. A resident of Buncombe County for most of his life, Mr. Deifendeifer worked as a truck driver for Asheville Oil Company, and had a passion for fishing. He was the son of the late Ronald Eugene and Treva Ward Deifendeifer. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Marrissa McAbee Deifendeifer; son, Cheston Deifendeifer; sister, Pamela Graham and husband Carl; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, May 23 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 3:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
