David Montgomery

Asheville - David Albert Montgomery, 54, died Thursday March 31, 2011. A native of Norfolk, VA, he lived in Buncombe County most of his life. He was a graduate of Bob Jones University and was a member of Asheville Gospel Chapel. He was a son of Hortense B. Montgomery of Asheville and Robert David Montgomery of VA. Surviving in addition to his mother and father are his son, David Edward Montgomery of Leesburg, OH; daughter, Jessica Elizabeth Montgomery of Weaverville; brother, James L Montgomery and wife Kim of Asheville; niece Haley Montgomery and god daughter, Karalyce Ochoa. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
