Derrell Acrey

Swannanoa Derrell Neal Acrey, 70, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. A native of Greenville, SC, he had lived in Asheville for over 30 years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Acrey was the son of the late Felton Acrey and Cleo Pressley Acrey. Surviving are his wife, Wanda Jo Lominac Acrey; son, Terry Acrey, step children, Jacky Easter, Bobby Easter, Rena Hairston, Frances Tate and Wanda West (Steve); sisters, Doris Acrey and Elaine Acrey. Memorial services will be held 3 PM Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Walker and Rev. Allen Rash officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM Sunday at the church.
