Don Lipe

Asheville - Donald Eugene Don Lipe, 68, of 119 Vinewood Circle, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014. A native of Haywood County, he had resided most of his life in Buncombe County and was formerly employed with Fishburne Equipment, Gerber and TLF. Mr. Lipe was a son of the late William Pressley Lipe and Ruth Elizabeth Price Lipe. Surviving are his wife whom he married May 16, 1965, Mary Marcella Wilkes Lipe of the home; sons, Terry Lipe and Gregory Lipe and daughter, Donna Sue Low all of Asheville; grandchildren, Stephanie Ray, Elizabeth Ray, Candice Banks, Dustin Crawford and Addison Gates; sister, Peggy Buckner of York, SC; brother, Douglas Lipe of Asheville and several nieces and nephews. Graveside rites will be held at 10:30 Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with Pastor Craig Roberts officiating and Sandra Ingle bringing her message in music. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
