Donald "Don" Clark

Donald “Don” Edwin Clark, 69, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 16, 2024, while at his home.

A native of Buncombe County, he was a graduate of Clyde A. Erwin High School. He deeply loved his family, and he had a passion for Ford Mustangs, having owned many throughout his life. He enjoyed being around friends, and never met a stranger.

He was the son of the late Wiley Hugh Clark and Leilla Meritta Robinson Clark.

Surviving are his wife, Ronda Clark; children: Heather Morrow and husband Rusty, and Donna Weston and husband Gareath; step-children: Melissa Golden, William Chapman and wife Monica, and James Chapman; grandchildren: Alysa and Joslyn Morrow, and Averi, Louis, Ayanna Weston, and Kaitlyn Golden; sister: Linda Maynard and husband Steve; and his beloved dogs, Harley & Eleanor.

 Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 20, 2024, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Rev. Jonathan Sluder and Rev. Keith Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.

 The family will receive friends from 1 till 2 PM Friday prior to services at the funeral home.
