Donald "Donny" Edward Boggs, Jr.

Weaverville – Donald “Donny” Edward Boggs, Jr., 60, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at the Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital in Memphis, TN.

A native of Buncombe County, he worked in concrete construction and attended A-B Tech. Donny enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was always concerned for their wellbeing.

He was a son of the late Donald Boggs and Shirley Ann Gosnell Bowman and George Bowman. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Doug Boggs; and nephew, Trevor Bowman.

Surviving are his children: Jon Boggs and wife Lauren, Jennifer Boggs, and Molly Bullman; grandchildren: Waylon, Bear, Brooklyn, Kadyn, and Kaison; siblings: Danny Bowman and wife Torri, and Debbie Wynne and husband Chuck; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Green Hills Cemetery with Avery Bowman officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 till 2 PM on Sunday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
