Dorothy M. Netherton

Arden - Dorothy Mae McNutt Netherton, 77, of 229 Ledbetter Road, died Friday September 7, 2007 at the John F. Keever Solace Center. A native of Seattle, WA, she had lived in Buncombe County since 1962. She was a member of Biltmore Baptist Church and the Ian and Esther Walker Bible Fellowship Group. She was a daughter of the late Walter Earl and Esther Alexander McNutt. Surviving are her husband Thomas Tommy Netherton of the home; son, Dr. Mark D. Netherton and wife Lisa of Mt. Pleasant, SC; daughter, June N. Jarvis and husband Derick of Arden; sister, Betty Johnson of Seattle, WA and seven grandchildren, Scott, Shelby and Emma Netherton, Megan and Hayden Trenaman and Jessica and Kelsey Jarvis. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Ian Walker officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
