Dorothy T. Williams

Marshall – Dorothy Lou Tweed Williams, 84, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 15, 2023.

A native of Madison County and resident of Buncombe County for most of her life. Mrs. Williams throughout her career was a Beautician and a daughter of the late Elmer and Dorothy Tweed. She was also preceded in death by her Husband, William Roger Williams, Sr. who died in 2008 and her 12 siblings.

Surviving are her son, William R. Williams, Jr. and wife, Lydia of Gate City, VA; grandchildren, Travis Williams (Heather), Dustin Williams and Tristan Williams, Ross Sutherland (Krista) and Taylor Sutherland; 13 great-grandchildren and sister, Betty Blackwell (David) of Alexander and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, with the Rev. Jimmy Dean Hensley officiating.

Pallbearers will be William R. Williams, Jr., Travis Williams, Dustin Williams, Tristan Williams, Trevor Williams and Jamison Clanton.
