Douglas Mcarthur Ingle

Douglas McArthur Ingle, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 28, 2018 at Mission Hospital. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Chanley Ingle and Vista King Metcalf. Mr. Ingle retired as a supervisor after 31 years from the Sanitation Department for the City of Asheville. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Estelle Ingle; son, Authur Ingle of Candler; uncles: Vincent King of Chesnee, SC, and Weldon King of Maiden; and many cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday, June 1, 2018 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Rhinehart and Rev. James Donati officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 till 1 PM Friday at the funeral home.
