Douglas Young

Asheville Douglas Young, 70, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at his home. A native of Buncombe County, he retired as an Automobile Salesman and was a veteran of the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Mr. Young was a son of the late Robert Louis Young and Hazel Elizabeth Shope Young. Surviving are his son, Christopher Douglas Farmer and his wife Yubei Farmer of Topeka, KS; brothers Rev. Jerry Ray Young and wife Nina Young of Asheville and Robert Anthony Tony Young Faye Young of Jacksonville, FL; a niece, five nephews and several cousins. Memorial graveside services will be held at 3 PM Friday, December 30, 2016 at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
