Eddie Putnam

Marion Donald Edward Eddie Putnam, Sr., 61, of Marion, died Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center after an extended illness. Mr. Putnam was a native of Waynesville, NC. He was the son of the late Charles Western Putnam. He was a disabled Vietnam Veteran of the US Marine Corps. Surviving are his wife, Angela carol Baldwin, of the home; children: Montana Lanette Putnam of the home, Donald Edward Putnam, Jr. of Jonathan Creek, and Angela Diane Putnam of Clyde; his mother, Katherine Louise Putnam of Waynesville; sister, Betty Jean Reese of Waynesville; and brothers: Charles Putnam of Waynesville and Robert William Putnam of Asheville. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, with interment following the services.
