Ethelyn Hayes House

Asheville - Ethelyn Hayes House, 91, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at her residence. Ethelyn was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County, NC and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Malcombe and Ethel Ingle Hayes and the wife of the late Ralph House. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Dewey, M.D. and Charles Hayes. Surviving are her sons, Jim (Faye), Tony (Pat), Larry, Johnny (Colene) and Rick House, sister, Mary Robinson, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday, September 3 at 3 PM at Shepherd Memorial Park with Rev. Don House officiating.
