Eula Knight

ASHEVILLE - Eula Jean Jeannie Jones Knight, 75, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, surrounded by family at St. Joseph Hospital. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Ms. Knight was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Josephine Parham Jones. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Knight; brother, Everette Jones; and sister, Margaret Gibson. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and dear sister. She loved her family dearly. Surviving are her daughters: Barbara Jean Yeary and husband Conrad, and Shirley Knight; son, Everette D. Knight; sisters: Paula Ann Rogers, Sue Nadelman, Lois Wiles, and Eloise Jones; brothers: Billy and James Jones; 14 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Pastor Allen Rash and Pastor Donnie Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
