Eva Jane Arrington Mcclure

Eva Jane Arrington McClure, 90, of Asheville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Western North Carolina Baptist Home. Eva was a daughter of the late Bryson Columbus Arrington and Okra Wallen Arrington. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Ellis McClure who passed away February 23, 2000; an infant son; sisters: Velda Morgan, and Pauline Hawkins; and by brothers: Rex Arrington, Everett Arrington, and Henry Arrington. Eva was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church. Surviving are her children: David McClure and wife Celia of Asheville, and Teresa Sowa and husband Michael of Asheville; sisters: Mabel Crowe and husband Boyce of Black Mountain, and Jean Eveleigh and husband Harvey of Gastonia; brother, J.B. Arrington and wife Jane of Leicester; grandchildren: Eric Sowa, Katlyn McClure Clough, and Victoria McClure; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth; and by many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 12PM, Friday, January 30, 2015, at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
