Florence Leila Goldsmith

Asheville - Florence Leila Goldsmith, 86, formerly of Asheville and resident of Boone for the last several years, passed away Sunday February 4, 2007 at the Blowing Rock Hospital. She was born in Asheville, June 4, 1920 to the late John William and Emaline McAbee Goldsmith. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Helen Goldsmith Freeman and brothers, Clarence Goldsmith and John G. Goldsmith. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Goldsmith of Asheville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following services at the funeral home.
