Frances Ann Rhew Harris

Asheville - Frances Ann Rhew Harris, 71, of 1314 Tunnel Road, passed away Monday, November 3, 2008 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Rhew, Sr. and Anna Katherine Ledford Rhew. Surviving are her brothers: William Thomas Rhew, Jr. and wife Lassie of Asheville and Charles Robert Rhew of Fairview; sister, Elizabeth Rhew Thomas and husband Arthur Thomas, Jr. of Asheville; half-brothers: Dale and Patrick Rhew, both of Asheville; half-sister, Jean Austin of Fletcher; aunt, Grace Rhew of Asheville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Friday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, with the Rev. William Warren officiating.
