Frances "Mamaw" Shuford

Asheville - Frances Mamaw Marjorie Mack Shuford, 82, of 16 Goodwill Street died Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at the Brian Center in Weaverville. Mrs. Shuford was a life long resident of Buncombe County and retired in 1984 as a Nurses Assistant with Brentwood Nursing Home She was the daughter of the late Thomas A. Mack and Lyndy Plemmons Mack. She was also preceded in death by her husband Fred Lee Shuford who died Decemeber 22, 1994. Surviving are her four daughters Carolyn Laws, Alice Barrett and Nancy Naomi Shepherd all of Weaverville and Glenda Messer of Candler; 9 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grand Daughters. Graveside Services will be held Friday April 1, 2005 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles English officiating. Pallbeares will be Matthew Nash, Tony King, Joshua Ray, Wesley Buckner, Timothy Buckner, Scotty Robinson, Frankie Sims and Stevie Sims.
