Frances Smith Allison

Gray, TN - Frances Belle Smith Allison, 97, of 791 Old Gray Station, formerly of 33 State Street, West Asheville died Saturday, May 4, 2002 at the Anderson Health Care Center following a period of declining health.. A native of Yancey, County, NC, she had resided in Western North Carolina most of her life prior to moving to Gray, TN in the early 90s. Mrs. Allison was a homemaker and formerly attended West Asheville Church of God. She was the daughter of the late Richard David and Mollie Moranda Boone Smith and the wife of the late James Marvin Allison. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers and one sister. Surviving are several nieces and nephews.. Graveside services will be held 3:30 p.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. John T. Tiller offficiating. Ther family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
