Freddie Robertson

Fletcher – Frederick Monroe “Freddie” Robertson, 55, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Advent Health. A native of Gaston Co, he had resided in Buncombe County his entire life. He worked with Orangeburg (later Silverline Plastics) as a grinder. He will be remembered as a kind-hearted man that followed the rules down to the letter. Mr. Robertson was the son of the late Charles Curtis and Willie Juanita Jones Robertson. He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Lloyd Chuckie Robertson, Charles Willie Robertson, and Clifton Stephen Robertson. Surviving are his long-time companion and best friend, Kaye Rich; brother, Christopher Robertson and wife Cathy; sister-in-law, Sandy Robertson; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at a later date at Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Asheville.
