G.A. Masters

MARSHALL - G.A. Masters, 69, of 15 Teague Road passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County. He was a truck driver and member of Highland Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Albert William and Lila Kate Lindsey Masters. Surviving are his wife, Delois Masters of the home; daughter, Mary Masters; son, Tommy Masters; grandchildren, Joey Justice, Jonathan Justice, Tommy T Masters, Jr. and Christopher Masters; sister, Lillie Susie Thone-Suwan; brothers, Buster Masters, Charles Masters and Bob Masters. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Reid officiating. Burial will follow in Redmon Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
