Gail Thomas

Asheville Gail Redmond Thomas, 57, of 540 Old Hwy #20, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Memorial Mission Hospital. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a graduate of T.C. Roberson High School, a professional babysitter, a member of Candler House of Prayer and attended The Dwelling Place. She was a daughter of William Ronald Redmond of Candler and the late Mary Alice Moore Redmond. Surviving in addition to her father are her husband, George Thomas of the home; daughter, Stephanie Silver of Alexander; son, Jeremy Shuffler of Asheville; step sons, Michael Shuffler of Fairview and Dale Shuffler and wife Lisa of Alexander; sister, Mary Alice Roberts and husband Bob of Asheville; brother, Jeff Redmond and wife Brenda of Candler and 10 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday at The Dwelling Place in Candler with the Rev. Gwen Hall officiating. Graveside services will follow in Green Hills Cemetery at 4 P.M. Tuesday.
